A baby for Elijah

Wow, what a fun experience to be expecting with a precious 3 year old around. Elijah talks about the baby in my tummy everyday. He even comments on my poochy belly and less than tiny back side. Three year olds are honest, we must love them for it. When asked if he would like a brother or sister he now says a sister,,, last week it was a brother. Either way he is determined to name it Junior,, "like on Nemo mommy." We decided that Junior Benfield would be a rockin name for a Nascar driver. Along with baby names he has also decided to start hiding his toys so that the new baby will not get them, ie his battery powered 4-wheeler. Although I explain that a newborn cannot ride a 4 wheeler it will remain under Elijahs watchful eye. I am now very aware of the importance of make the little king of my household remain the king. Every moment is to tell him of just how special he is. This is going to be loads of fun and we cannot wait to add another precious child to our family.
